I seem to have invented the wheel again! Having concluded that my
Dystonia was originating in the brain, and so may respond to changes
in Dopamine level, I thought I would consult Black's Medical Dictionary:

Quote: Dystonia refers to a type of involuntary movement characterised
by a sustained muscle contraction, frequently causing twisting and
repetetive movements or abnormal postures and CAUSED BY INAPPROPRIATE
  INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE BRAIN. Unquote
