Hi Brenda....

Please keep in mind that while perhaps swollen feet as the ONLY
symtom might -MIGHT - not mean anything that serious, but add
that swelling to any one (or more) of other symptoms, and there
might just be an indicator of something ELSE - something NOT as
easily dismissed, such as heart trouble (which ain't to be sneezed
at!), or some other equally distressful condition.

Also, while hte Kaiser Healthwise bok IS informative, its' sole
purpose it cause the KAiser Members to consult the BOOK rather
than SEE a DOCTOR in person!

The BOOK means an overall money saver to Kaiser (and I'm a Kaiser
member and DO appreciate sucsh aids as the book, 'cause what I
DON'T need is ANTHER doctor visit)

By the way.... anyother Kaiser feature that is now gone, due to
the overall expense, that I sure appreciated is the apothacary jar
that every Kaiser office (at least in the WOodland Hills, Calif.
facility) filled with lollipops!!!

there is one! I even tried looking up edema in my Kaiser
Permanente Healthwise book but nothing in the index, so guess it
isn't too serious!

Amantadine and swelling. Good answers. However, I still don't know
why that symptom might be considered "undesirable". Can somebody
enlighten me?
