In my experience and my learning outside of school, I associate discussion of religion as a prelude to condemnation to death or exile, as in the Inquisition, and to betrayal by neighbors to the SS, and to extermination. Freedom of religion to me is sacred and very personal. Peace, Shalom, Saalam, Nirvana(?), etc. Michel
