I don't have PD, I'm the CG for Cecily 79/20 I'm 81. We both have some foot swelling. The doc says for her it's just age and inactivity. She had a stroke about a year ago so long walks etc. are out. She doesn't take Amantidine but Sinemet and Mirapex , eldepryl and inderal, plus a light diuretic. Doc calls it congestive heart failure. My foot swelling is also attributed to heart problems - had some tests - more coming What I am trying to say is make sure that you aren't developing a heart - circulation problem not just a reaction to any drug. Cec's MD and Neuro both check with each other before adding any new medication.
