Adding to
Marge Swindler and Marty Polanskys comments:
I too had rotator cuff injury. X-Rays showed bone spur impingement which to
me seemed like a medieval mace grinding away inside my shoulder.
Treatment began with physiotherapy with a later option of steroid injections
or, if necessary, surgery to level out the spurs. Physiotherapy helped but
did not cure.
When decision-making was due we were about to vacate to warmer climes
(Cancun, Mexico) for the holidays, so injection was tried with appropriate
caveats.
Lo ! Shoulder gradually healed during vacation. Credit goes to my wise
surgeon..
Of course patients and severity of
conditions differ. That decision was right for me.

For my recent Carpal Tunnel surgery won the option.
Now I'm learning voice activator computing.
