Hello Ann and Joe, I tried Amantadin too this summer - but only for a month because especially my left foot was swelling to almost double size and it gave me some strong pain. My neuro asked me to stop, because the sideeffect was too bad compared to the benefit. I`ll try to ask one of my friends ( a neurologist) and ask about the consequences.
