The problem in discussions between people is, that instead of discussing the subject itself, they often start discussing the people behind the discussion, his/her objectives or character. Don't conclude you made a mistake just because a few people on the list say so. A lot of people probably agree with your attempt to help Ivan, but don't respond because they are afraid they will be put down in the same way you were. Many have allready experienced that in the past and concluded, as you did yourself at first, to retreat and only extract info. Even the founding of the Sparkle list did not make clear to some people that there is something basically wrong with (the way) this list (is run). And after a few months: SURPRISE........another listwar. Well, you can relax for a while untill the next listwar will be on in 3-4 months from now. Hans.
