Yyonne, After only six weeks of being diagnosed with Parkinson's(George,
your husband that is), is probably still reeling from the shock of that
news. You, too, are also probably still trying to come to terms with your
husb having a chronic illness. So, why isnt the medicine the neuro
prescribed working? Getting just the right drugs that will help with
George's specific pd symptoms is quite a balancing act. It seeems that
this disease effects each one uniquely and only with patience and accurate
reporting by George and possibly by you shaaring your observations of
George will the neuro(hopefully a movement disordeer specialist
w/experience treating Parkinson's) come up with the best meds for George.

Be thankful the list is here. Whenever I've had to adjust meds, I've found
support and explainations from others who have gone before me.

Did I miss the agees of you and your husb in earlier posts? I'm 49 and
have been diagnosed for 2 years. My husb thinks I'm addicted to my
computer and the list e-mail. He may be right.

Hi Janet
My nameis yvonne. I am George's wife. after over a year of beeong
told
that he was burned out, overworked and depressed we got the diagnosis that
he had Parkinson's about six weeks ago. So far he is not progressing well
according to the neurologist. He has upped the medication so we'll see.
