I had a pallidotomy on Aug. 18th 1999 at the Emory University Hospital.
It did not turn out as I had hoped.
I cannot pick up things to the right with either eye and therfore am
unable to drive. My short term memory is bad. I am 67 years old and
dependent on my husband for many things that I was independent before the
operation.
Is there anyone out there who has had this operation and can tell me if I
can expect to get better in the future.
