Richard,
Having read your testimony and an article about you in the news, I think
just telling your story like you have done before will be the best way to
represent what your own lifestory is before and after the diagnosis of
Parkinson's Disease. Surely the interviewer will ask ?? and you may want
to ask if those ?? can be given to you BEFORE the taped interview so you'll
have time to consider your response.
You are "famous" to me as you've boldly gone to DC and told your story to
many curious souls. I appreciate you for speaking out and telling others
what a person with Parkinson is.......a person just like everyone else with
dreams, hopes, family, concerns........and a person who would like the
chance to see the future happen and a cure/prevention for this disease to
be found.

Hello,
I was asked to tape an interview for on-air broadcast with FOX news
in Philadelphia. I am a 31 year old lawyer who was dx with PD at age
27.
My understanding is that FOX wants a story about someone like
Michael J. Fox, without all the fame (just an ordinary guy). I am
meeting with them at 10:30 AM, Tues November 23.
Any suggestions of what I should discuss would be appreciated or I
will just do my own thing. I have had two articles about me appear in
the Philadelphia Inquirer in the last year and I testified before
Senator Spector's Committee in Jan 1999. So I have a little experience
with this stuff.
    Thanks, Richard L. Pikunis, Jr.
