Dear Jennifer: If it says that, it does, in fact mean that the blood sugar can go up!! This is something that I've never heard before, that's why I went to Dr. Lieberman. If you want to ask him questions about medicines directly, you can. Please go to our (NPF's) web site at www.parkinson.org and click under the section called "Ask Dr. Lieberman". You need to sign up and the messages you send to him will be sent to all on the list (like the listserv). He's prompt about answering questions that are sent in.
