Tom - a good idea - but may I suggest one more Question - (1a) Which area of the brain was targeted my replies > > (1) 50 / Male / 13yrs (1a) Globus Palidus > (2) dyskinesia > (3) 7weeks since surgey > (4) Stages - 1st the inplant , then the battery etc a week later > (5) no visible signs of swelling > (6) my stim was turned on the day after the battery was enbeded (8 days after stim inplanted) > (7) 3 weeks the effect was immediate -but it had taken several sessions in hospital and two sessions sinc leaving hospital, to get to the current very good (but possibly improvable on) settings > (8) see above > (9) 1.4 v > (10) 3 weeks > (11) within hours > (12)I have not noticed any emotional changes > (13) No - my medication level has remained unchanged > (14) I haven't tried running - and I'm not planning too :-) > (15) I am extremly pleased with the results - but it is not my practice to recommend that anyone have the surgery. This surgery is too serious for that.
