Thanks for your response Sherry I regret to say you neuro needs remedial education on PD. It is true that Amantadine was initially approved for viral infections like the flu, but several years ago, it was found beneficial in PD to smoothe out the ups and downs or 'ons' and 'offs'. Seek an MD who's up to date, a movement disorder specialist!!! Michel
