Re visual problems:
Double vision is unlikely to be in "one eye."  It is the result of the two
eyes not working together and not seeing the same thing at the same time.
This is very common in PWP, especially double at near for reading, owing to
convergence insufficiency.  A patch or a prism can be helpful.
You mention the possibility of PSP -- people with PSP have gaze palsies,
especially difficulty looking down.  They also have trouble reading because
their eyes don't hold still but make little movements called square wave
jerks.  Your neurologist or neuro-ophthalmologist should be able to
distinguish these diagnoses.
