Audrey, My mother sometimes has trouble opening her eyes when she first gets up. Eventually, and slowly, they open. My mom Joyce (70) has Parkinson's Plus. Your e-mail interests me because despite the fact that your husband may have PD Plus, doctors are talking about DBS and pallidotomy. I thought those with PD Plus disorders were not candidates for such operations. If you have any more info on that part of it, please let me know. Thanks and good luck.
