It's the nature of the beast.

If you join a mailing list about quilting, there will be argu-
ments and discussions on other topics. If you join a mailing
list about scuba diving, there will be arguments and discussions
on other topics. If you join a mailing list about naturism,
there will be arguments and discussions on other topics. If you
join a mailing list about Grand Funk Railroad, there will be ar-
guments and discussions on other topics.

If you attend a cocktail party where the guests were invited
because they all had Shy Draggers Syndrome, there would be argu-
ments and discussions on other topics.

The *only* way to keep a cocktail party on-topic is to appoint
a moderator to say who can talk and what they can talk about.
The only way to keep a mailing list on-topic is to make it moder-
     ated.

It's the nature of the beast.

As has been said elsewhere, any kind of stress magnifies my
symptoms. It doesn't matter if it is physical stress, mental
stress, or emotional stress -- they all make my tremors worse.

Interestingly, when I get up to talk/teach in from of a class
-- at least at the beginning -- my tremors are minimized. Then
through the rest of the time in class I will have a variety of
on-times and off-times -- some of which is due to stress in any
     form.

         Great site. Thanks!

I have the same list at the end of my "tremor story" on my Web
site. The only difference is that I have tried to find Web pages
that discuss the look-alike diseases and set up links to them.
     FWIW. FYI.
