HIi Brian and William: For several years, I had a very uncomfortable problem
with leg cramps. This usually occured in the morning at about 5 a.m. Nothing
seemed to help. B ut I am glad to say that I now have very little problem
with my calf muscles tightening up. I now take my carbidopa\levodopa crushed
and suspended in 1000 c.c.of water. Until recently I also added half a
teaspoon of ascorbic acid. I take 60 cc every waking hour; Each dose is
equivalent to 0.6 of my 25/100 carbidopa/kevodopa tablets which seems to
even out my response and lessen dystonia. The most helpful was my receriving
a pallidal stim surgery nearly four years ago. Until recently thyat had just
about completely eliminated dystonia; but the positive side is that I am
cutting back on my carbidopa\levodopa and that was a goal that is just being
realized
