I didn't like it for 3 reasons: 1) It was more difficult to respond to a posting. 2) You have to page through the whole thing instead of deleting quickly what isn't of interest or what you don't have the time or patience for that day. 3) I like to read all the mail about one subject and then go on to another one. That is impossible with the DIGEST format.
