I believe that any slow release drug like the CR cannot, repeat - cannot be split, cut, or broken, otherwise it just reverts to a simple non CR drug. In most cases, the whole drug or very particles of the dug are coated with a special polymer that provides a slowly systemic dissolution of the drug. Michel
