Hi Nancy and Carole,

If your doctor tells you there are no side effects to PD meds he is either
ignorant or trying to keep you in the dark (barefoot and pregnant) and if
either seem to be a repeated behavior on his/her part I would suggest
looking for another doctor. Patient education is one is one of the most
important thing that physicians do.

To answer Carole I agree with all of your 3 minds on the subject. Knowledge
is power, the PDR or package insert can bog down a patient with excess
information that they do not know how to interpret and check with your
doctor and the PDR if you are having any significant occurrences after
starting a drug. A drug reaction can be idiosyncratic and occur in you as
the first (UN)reported case. Also you should be able to use your pharmacist
as a resource.

What was prescribed for you that they said had no side effects?

Charlie
