Irene: I switched to an Intellimouse Pro Serial & PS/2 compatible with a lot of success. Has a much larger mold which accommodates my hand, a larger roller ball which can be moved by middle finger ( no more physical searching around movements), and the sides are made of a rubbery type suede material which I find easier to hold. There are other Intellimouse types and I think you have to be specific to describing this one. I have very poor memory but I think I bought it at beyond.com.
