I haven't been to UCLA, but I felt Cedars did not have as good a support
structure as did USC, an NPF affliate.Dr. Mickey and and Dr. Mark Lew will stay
and talk as long as you have questions. I was diagnosed 10 years ago at Cedars,
and you most likely would get excellent care at either institution. If I ever
need hosiptalization, Cedars or USC (the private one, NOT county USC!) would be
at the top of my list.
I think it boils down to doctor reference. I would periodically get a second
opinion in any event.
