Coleen,

Paxil is used for depression primarily with other uses including OCD and
Social phobia all of which have biochemical origins.  It is often useful
with PD patients but your doctor should be expalining why he is prescribing
any medication. It can interact  with eldepryl but that is unlikely. IT is
unlikely to help tiredness unless it is paaart of a depression.
