I take sinemet 100/25 at 2 1/2 hour intervals ,4 times per day. My startup
time is 1 1/2 hours and each tablet works for about 2 1/2 hrs. I have found
by self medicating that I can keep myself "ON" for 8- 10 hrs. At bedtime I
take 2 tryptinol and I sleep like a box of bricks for 6 hours. I got PD at
32 now 57 and still using sinemet. Too much causes dyskinesia ( uncontrolled
movement) and too little causes stiffness. You need to play with the meds to
find your correct dose
