        Way, way back in 1995 -- when my symptoms first started catch-
     ing my attention -- the first neurologist I went to (out of 4 :-(
     ) tested for this disease first.  He told me that it was rare but
     that it's symptoms were almost identical to the ones  I  was  ex-
     hibiting.

        If I remember correctly, the test involved checking for abnor-
     mally high levels of copper in the liver ... I think.
